The Gaza Strip is one of the most interesting, controversial and influential places in the Middle East. In the Gaza Strip & Envelope there are roughly 3 million people, Israelis and Palestinians.
On this tour we will meet those people, and hear from them about the beauty and the complexity of living in such a region.
We will start our day at the Black Arrow monument with a lookout towards the northern part of The Gaza strip. From there a few minutes drive will take us to Sderot, the closest Israeli city to Gaza. There, we will meet people from the area in order see the extra-ordinary day to day lives that they live there.
From Sderot we will go to the Erez crossing, the actual border, where we can meet some Palestinian people coming to trade and work in Israel.
Then we will learn a bit about one of Israel’s biggest prides- the Kibbutz (cooperative town).we visit Kibbutz Yad Mordechay.
We will have lunch with the Kibbutz members in the communal dining room and walk around this unusual phenomena- the collective community. We will end the day at the Israel – Gaza wall and take part in a beautiful project named ‘Path to peace’.
